Description
Tiring of me trying to photograph him, Mr Praying Mantis made a huge stretch from one leaf to another…on his upper leg is a single drop of water left over from a morning rain. Mantises are amazng…to be able to stretch with great agility and precision. If they feel there is too much danger, they will fly to another location. These perfect predators are excellent at being still and hunting for hours. Their heads rotate 180 so not to alert their prey where they are hiding. OVer their lifespan of a year or so, they will molt several times.
