Description
Two zebra on the foreground, walk toward the rest of the herd of zebra, grazing on the Hearst family property. Sitting on top of the back zebra, one lone bird takes a quite ride. The front zebra has two birds waiting for something to eat. Funny little birds, the Zebra seem to oblivious to their hitchhikers.
Taken at south of Hearst Castle, San Simeon, CA, North America, United States of America
Birds who hitchhike on the backs of zebras, are allowed to sit a rest a spell yet at the same time, they are able to eat insecrts which live on the zebra.
The zebra are descendants of the original herd which Hearst allowed to roam along the fields near the road on the journey to the castle on top of the mountain high above San Simeon.
