Description
Hunger driven, this Black Bear Cub sniffs out termites in the dead and rotting tree to feed it hunger. This little cub appeared to be orphaned as no mother appeared to be around. None of us who were taking pictures on the trail in the Sequoia National Forest, kept a wary eye for the Mother Bear who could have shown up in a second to protect her precious cub. Mother always knows best!
