Description
Three wild horses graze the open range in New Mexico. The western sun begins its journey to the other side of the esarth, casting shadows long mountain shadows alongside the horses. The mother roan, colt, and the horse walking into the scene, already are showing their early winter coats, glow as the sun falls behind the hills. Their coats will only become heavier as the winter weather brings snows and rains to the region. The early winter coast, indicate that winter will be harsh this year. Food wll be hard to find under the snows. Hopefully, Spring will arrive sooner than later in the New Mexico high desert.
