Description
This cub, spotted in Sequoia National Park, is sniffing for something to eat. I photographed him for over 1 1/2 hours. Not once did a Mother Bear show up to protect. Either Mother was injured, killed, or the orphaned cub was big enough to fend for itself. Regardless, brown bears are not pets. They are wild animals and are able to take a person down with its massive claws!
