Description
After yearrs and years of planning, financing, meeting with various contractor, building finally began of our Parish Church. Building began several years ago, and when Covid hit, the opening of our 3200 seat church was delayed one year. Finally, it was dedicated February 2, 2023, in our little vity of Visalia, California. We are ever so proud and honored that God has gven us the ability to have this parish church! An absolutely magnificent church, this is the largest Parish Church in all of North America. Though it is so very big, it doesn’t seem like you are in such a large church…just that God is right in the midst. As Father Dominic said, “Welcome home!”
St. Charles Borromeo is named after the famous bishop-saint of Milan, Italy, who was instrumental in establishing Catholic Education and Seminaries throughout the church. A retablo is a devotional painting, especially a small popular or folk art one using iconography derived from traditional Catholic church art.
