Description
The phrase "Cleanliness is Next to Godliness", came to my mind, as I watched these White Pelicans observe each other as they preen their white and black feathers during a rain shower. Their hooked orange and pink beaks, allow them to clean those delicate feathers. Water ripples in the slough at the Bosque del Apache Reserve in New Mexico. Reflections of these beautiful shore birds, add to the uniqueness of the day and a bit of humor goes a long way!
