Description
Colorful, aggressive, mean, beautiful, elegant...all can be in a description of this Rufous hummingbird. This male, adorned in deep iridescent orange and green feathers, is not a regular in my garden. This year, he did show up on his migration journey. Sitting on the nettle of my sago palm tree, with a backdrop of the green foliage, shows what a beautiful and elegant bird he really is.
