Description

This young male Annas hummingbird is poised in flight, looking for one of his foes as he tries to fight off the would be intruder. What was interesting, is that today, the Rufous hummingbird was the dominant fighter this morning. To see four to five birds fighting midair for territory as well as their lives, today's acrobatic stunts were exciting and brilliant!
