Stopping in Williams, Arizona on Route 66 at Christmastime, is such a joyous and exciting occasion-showing the beauty of the Christmas Spirit. The town is decorated is festivities. Colorful lights sparkle in the cold air - anticipating Santa Claus's arrival at the town square to pass out toys to all the good boys and girls! A beautiful night in the mountains!
The beautiful tree in the center of town, decorated with bright lights, coloroful ornaments, and for the finishing touches, lit Christmas presents at the base of the tree, made me sing the song, "O Tannenbaum" - the German lyrics of Oh Christmas Tree.
