Spring is the announcement winter’s dormancy has pased. Rebirth, new life, has begun. This is SPRING!
Petals on this orange Calendula, tipped with just a tad of light green, are layered in such perfection that only God, the Creator, could design. The center, still not fully opened, waits for the petals to wave to the insects, signaling Spring has arrived and pollen is waiting to be shared from one flower to another. Just to the side, another bud awaits its turn to be a part of the Spring pollination process.
Calendulas are very beneficial for the body. People with damaged or dry skin, may find the calendula oil will help nourish, plump, and tighten the skin. It has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties to help protect the collagen of the skin. While all of the medicinal properties are scientifically proven, there are those who believe in the magical healing properties of this little flower.
