Description
Petroglyphs are ancient writings depicting activities which happened in the lives of Dine, or the People, the ancient Anasazi, the forerunners of the Navajo people. A beautiful deer or elk is pictured here with a sheep, goat, and possibly a horse. The artists are amazing, and for these drawings to have survived of hundreds of years on the walls of Canyon de Chelly in Chinle, Arizona, is a tribute to the brilliants of these ancient peoples.

I love the idea that you have a gallery of educational photos. Thanks so much for educating us on this beauty!lf
Debby Pueschel replied:
Thank you Barbie. I decided that I have learned so much from other people from their pictures and artworks, that I would make an Educational Gallery for those who are teachers. Where we lived, and have visited, we often used in our classrooms, the information and photos we took. The kids were able to see what we had seen through our eyes rather than someone they did not know. It was a fun experience. Thank you for the very kind words!
