Of Course this Dragonfly couldn't land on one of blooming flowers in the front yard, but chose instead to find its landing pad on one of the spent flowers. Yet, in the final cut, it was a nice choice, for the curls of the flower, turned out looking quite nice.

However, I had never seen an orange Dragonfly with two white spots on its hear nor a white strip down its back. Intersting, I thought. So, I started snapping, until it seemed I was taking upside down photos. Then, there appeared one on the downside of the photo. Apparently two had shown up and I had not seen the other underneath the camera. Hairy and pickly, Their wings had little ladder patterns. A long white stipe ran down the center of the back and each had two white spots on their head. They were rather odd look creatures. It turned out to be a rather interesting morning.
