During the Intertribal Ceremonial, each tribe, speaks to the audience, explaining the meaning of each dance. Many of the performances were performed by the children, learning the dances of their ancestors, and, at the same time, the children were reconnecting with their customs and language of their rich Native American Heritage.
This woman was a part of a dance troupe performing the Eagle Dance. The men and women each have their roles in the dance. Beautiful and graceful, this was a day to enjoy and learn of other cultures.
