Description
An early spring, late winter scenario played out at the Grand Canyon in Arizona. Pretty little purple flowers stood around a pine tree which had some dead branches lying at the base. Such a delicate balance of new flowers, green pine needles, make for a delightful yet simple photo.

I love those Mojave asters. They are always so pretty. It's one of the more prolific wild flowers I have in my neck of the desert. I always wish that the seeds would scatter to my yard so I had some, but unfortunately that has never happened. LOL This is such a beautiful image. I love everything about it.
