Description
In a large meadow at Yosemite, a deer chomped on tender blades of grass and colorful flowers. It seemed ironic that a young deer would feast near a young pine tree. The past several years have been so sparce, that the deer have travelled from the high mountains to lower elevations for food. This year, however, these thin animals will once again, grow fat and have full bellies…the rain and snow have been good to the land!

Alisa, indeed she is thin, but will certainly gain weight by the end of the season. Thank you for your beautiful comments!

Sweet image, Debbie. Your focus and mood capture the tender innocence of this deer. She is a thin one!
