Along the road leaving Debois, Wyoming stood this dilapidated old homestead, long past the point of repair. What a wonderful place to raise children…trees, grasses, beautiful mountains in the background, open spaces trees…magnificent beauty! Now, the logs of this home hold the magic of secrets that only they know! I can imagine the tree held a swing for the children to play on after school or after chores were completed. The joys and sorrows of the hard life of the early pioneers who carved out this land for those of us today. What heroes!
