Description

The inside of the Allensworth First Baptist Church has been replicated much as it when it was originally built in 1916. The rich hardwood floors and the beautiful slatted pews are stunning against the light walls. Lights hanging from the ceiling, are replicas to the original gas lights. A wooden stove reminds everyone that heating was provided by the wood or coal. The church today holds 90 people…and still holds weekly services.
