Watch your speed as you cruise through Seligman, Arizona...you might be pulled over by an antique Patrol car. No longer on patrol, this old car sits in a lot for display so that visitors may feel some of the charm old Route 66 held.
Travelling Route 66 - the original stretch through California, Arizona, and New Mexico, is a treat for those who don't mind going slow, taking frequent stops, or just doing the tourist thing, is something my husband and I had wanted to do for years, and finally travelled through part of the journey. If you don't mind two way traffic, this is just the trip for you!
One day, we will take the entire route, or as much as is left...but it is important that if we wish to do the journey, it needs to be soon - before 'modern' life catches up with the old roads.
OH...and don't forget to see the hole from some shotgun in the car!
