Description
It's sunset, the time when hummingbirds come for their last sip of nectar before nighttime. Tonight's visit was an especially nice one. A Rufous hummingbird, is a large and especially aggressive hummingbird. Though they are aggressive, their feathers are a brilliant orange. The surprise was even more exciting when the sunlight hit the breast of the bird and radiated a stunning orange! What beauty. Its patch of white on the chest was pure white. His little feet hung suspended underneath its body. waiting for a place to land and attach his feet in landing. Interestingly enough, hummingbird feet are only able to grasp and stabilize itself after landing. His wings caught the sunset light, aa light shone through as if an X-ray had snapped the wings. His underbelly also accented the orange of the natural color of the feathers. Suspended in space, I so enjoyed it - knowing nature knows no limits...God makes no mistakes on His creation.
