Pink and yellow on green - such magnificant spring colors! The desert is filled with such color...those are the colors we saw at Joshua Tree National Park - alive with vibrant Spring color. The colors of the rainbow. Deserts seem dull and ugly, yet, if you look closely enough, you will be very pleased with everything you see! It is simply Nature at its best!

Beavertail Prickly Pear Cactus are a favorite of mine. I guess to some people, the desert can seem dull and ugly, but those people have not been to my desert, the Sonoran Desert. Parts of the Mojave Desert are bleak, but Joshua National Park is quite magnificent in the springtime, as your photography shows. Beautiful, Debby. Thank you for sharing these gorgeous blooms with us. LF
