Description
This figurine is fashioned after my father…a man to whom prayer, was not begging, but just a conversation with God.
For Father’s Day one year, my Mother wanted to give my Dad something special. She asked a lady to make this figurine from the mud of a piece of land my Father grew oranges from seeds. She had never seen my father, but my Mother showed her how he knelt during family prayer. I will always hold this figuring dear to my heart.

Lois, thank you for the contest of fathers and allowing me to share this figurine which exemplified my father's love for God. He was a man who sought God first in his life. My earliest memories of Daddy was getting up and see him reading in a chair in the Living Room reading his Bible. I entered this one simply because his life and love for God. Thank you and everyone who voted for my capture and explanation of what it meant! God receives the Glory of this win! thank you all again! Debby

Maria, I am totally honored by your blessed words. I was so touched by your words about congratulation for the First Place win, I really cried. How awesome. My father truly was a man blessed by God. He was not a wealthy man, just a very humble man. He was my hero...a man of God through and through! Thank you again for your beautiful comments! Debby
