These leaves appear to be nature's abstract. The brown spent leaf against the blue...the contrast of colors is simply beautiful. Shadows of white and deep brown appear. Frost has curled the edge of the leaf. Barren branches barely have a hold on the fragile leaf...winter has a tender hold on this last leaf. It will not be there for long. Soon it will fall to the frozen ground, but for now, its beauty is stunning! Winter has arrived in Yosemite National Park!
