Artist's Description
The Acoma Reservation in New Mexico demonstratd the old vrs new of what was once the norm for these magnificent Tribal People. It is very interesting how the people build their pueblos on top of this mesa, and yet, make them straight. The POV down the rocky path shows the sky and clouds...the Acoma are an amazing people!

About Debby Pueschel
Thank you for visiting my galleries. You will find a variety of collections from which to browse. My photography began with capturing hummingbirds...little did I realize this is quite a feat to capture these creatures, so small and fast. Yet, I waited and befriended this who were less afraid of humans. I talk to...

Thank you Anita….it is beautiful up there, but the MOST amazing thing, is that this is a HUGE mess with no fences...yet the children are taught to never go too close to the edge and are allowed to run freely around the area! Thank you for the LF too

This photo is marvelous. The textures, the shadows, the muted tones against a deep blue sky - fabulous. This is the kind of photo I hunt to take myself. Great job.

Thank you Dr. Pat! This Pueblo mesa is absolutely amazing...high drops, but people still enjoy living in the peace and tranquility. It very clearly shows how the new additions, added to the old and ancient pueblos are how the people live today. Thank you for your comment and the LF!

There is something quite evocative about this image capture. The stark contrast of light and shadows juxtaposed with the stillness of the barren pathway is striking. L/F
