Description
The red head of the Male Anna against the lightened sky, made me think of Christ as He was Crucified on the Cross. Thus the name The Crucifixion. This bird was a "gift" from my mother after she passed. She knew I had a passion for hummingbirds. While visiting one of her dearest friends, I sat on the porch with this woman and her husband and watched the hummingbirds flock around the single feeder. This one bird singled out, looked directly at me, and I snapped my most favorite photo of all!
